Carbon dioxide levels are substantially higher now than at any time in the last 800,000 years, the latest study of ice drilled out of Antarctica confirms.

The in-depth analysis of air bubbles trapped in a 3.2km-long core of frozen snow shows current greenhouse gas concentrations are unprecedented.

The concept of energy is pretty lame. Energy can be transferred from one friggin body to another, but still the n00bs bring in potential energy as a concept just to fit everything into the Law of Conservation. I'm sorry if anyone thinques I'm being a wannabe to challenge an established law, but it just makes no effing sense to me, so I say it's a fake. Science is all about questioning the facts, after all.

And yeah, I thinque science would confirm that in no more than 2 centuries, human life on earth will be extinct.

Urwerk 202 Air Compressed Driven Watch

Watches are typically battery driven meaning that you have to change batteries often during your watch's lifetime. There have been few innovations on the mechanics of watches in recent years, but there is now - and it comes courtesy of the Urwerk 202. The 202 holds no battery, but functions by making use of compressed air. The internals of the watch are waterproof, allowing the built-in turbines to rotate based on temperature changes.
In an effort to increase the lifespan of the watch, there is a switch on the back which can be set at one of three positions - each controlling the turbine speeds to a different degree.

"In addition, the reading manner is fairly innovative. The three dials accompanied by their own rotating blocks are used to indicate hours and, at the same time, they adjust their length to mark the minutes."

The Urwerk looks pretty cool, but will the watch be able to ensure the correct time -- all the time? It's difficult to say, since time is of the essence!
